If you followed some of the looks coming off the runways at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week last fall, you might have noticed a similar pattern that came up time and time again: STRIPES. They dominated the runway at Lincoln Center as designers such as Prada and Marc Jacobs showcased their fresh new look for Spring/Summer 2011. Taking a cue from fashion it looks like stripes are not only making their way into our closets, but into our home’s decor as well.
With some of our favorite fashion designers such as Ralph Lauren and Trina Turk venturing into the home furnishing industry, it has become easier to incorporate runway fashion into your home’s interior. From wallpaper to the fabric on a pillow, this spring’s signature look of stripes can add some flair to your home’s design.
Here are some of our favorite home fabrics influenced by fashion.
1. Jil Sander– Scalamandre Fabric
2. Marc Jacobs– Robert Allen
3. Fendi– Scalamandre Fabric

5. Celine– Wallpaper, Ralph Lauren
