Celerie Kemble is a traditionalist at heart with the eye of a modern designer. Originally founded in Palm Beach, Florida in 1982, Kemble Interiors has been “known for making comfortable, easy-to-live-in houses with a touch of whimsy,” boasts co-founder Brooke Huttig. Originally an English Literature major at Harvard, New York City based Celerie Kemble has been a major player in residential and commercial interior design for over a decade. Michael Boodro, editor-in-chief at Elle Decor, describes Kemble’s work as “incorporating the serendipitous and the sentimental without losing clarity or strength.”
Celerie has recently done an inspiring collaboration with F. Schumacher featuring select fabrics which we are very excited to share with you. Kemble’s “Conundrum,” “Hot House Flowers” and “Betwixt” are bestsellers here at DecoratorsBest because their versatile and welcoming hues work well in any environment. Making a home livable is Celerie’s philosophy, and she integrates her mantra into all of her work. Celerie calls herself the “interface between reality and aspiration.” See Celerie Kemble fabrics on DecoratorsBest here!
